Community Running links
Regardless of your age, fitness level, aspiration, background, or location you can be a part of one of the following Community Running groups all over London!
- Run England is the official England Athletics recreational running project which aims to get the whole nation running. Click here to find your local running groups.
- Parkrun - We offer weekly, 5km, timed free runs open to all ages and abilities.
- Home Run is a series of guided group runs home from central London…we even carry your bag! Leave the tube behind! Home Run is a healthy and enjoyable alternative to the post work commute. Avoid the commuter crush and join us for a social run home instead.
- Run dem Crew is running club based at 1948 Shoreditch the RDC is a collective of creative heads with a passion for running and the exchange of ideas who meet every Tuesday and run the streets of London. As well as exploring the streets of London the Run Dem Crew also celebrates the diverse urban environment that surrounds the 1948 space with post run workshops, films and talks.
- Run dem Crew Youngers - Run Dem Crew was formed as a means of bringing together the mass of creative young people Ages 14+, RDC Youngers is a project that takes the Run Dem Crew into the heartbeat of the younger generation, and gives them the tools to change their lives through sport and creativity.
- Nike Training Club - The Nike Training Club community gives you the expertise, inspiration and motivation to get more out of NTC classes and all exercise. Nike Training Club is available as a training programme on iPhone and iPod touch apps and as live NTC running classes at your local Nike Store for free.
- Boutique Run Club - Even though the winter nights are drawing in, outdoor running sessions with the Boutique Run Club still take place – they’ve recently set up their ‘After Dark’ sessions for ladies who’d rather not run alone at night.They say you can be “safe and seen” during their sessions, which start at 6.30pm on October 29 and continue for six weeks during the dark months. Run through the city’s parks and streets with this group.Run begins at 20 Glasshouse Street, Piccadilly, W1B 5AR.
- Asics Running Club and Clinics - The Flagship Asics store in London's Oxford Street is now open and has launched new Running Clubs and clinics. As well as offering coached training sessions with professional trainers for runners of all abilities (including a top level coach who regularly runs with Mo Farah…!) the store has fitted a basement changing facilities for running club members. Upon joining you get your own swipe card, that allows you access via a blue door at the front of the shop and downstairs you will find clean towels, lockers, male and female changing rooms and showers .
- Sweaty Beatty Running Club - There are free clubs every week held in all our boutiques nationwide. To book in for a club at any of our boutiques please call the individual store the day before.
- Sweatshop Running Club - It's an entry level running group within every store and runners are incentivised for regular participation. The wider aim is to create a companywide running community linked via a common webpage on our blog and communicated with by e-newsletter. The Running Community doesn’t just stop at this entry level running group with many of our stores offering a variety of running groups for all abilities.
- City Jogging Tours -Discover London on the run! City Jogging Tours offers guided jogging tours around London, leading runners of all abilities on fascinating journeys through the streets of the city. A unique sightseeing experience for runners of all abilities, from inexperienced joggers to marathon runners.
- Open City Architechture Tours Urban Jogs arrive at Kings Cross! If you love jogging and passionate about seeing and experiencing London’s urban environment, then come and join the urban jog tour of Kings Cross with tour leader and fitness expert. Starting and ending at Kings Cross Station, the 8-kilometer (5 mile) jog tour will combine a story of Kings Cross’s urban development with a decent cardiovascular workout.
- Runclub London Run Club London, managed by professional and highly experienced London based coaches, new runners are welcome to attend.
