Metro are delighted to have Action for Blind people on board for this year’s championships, and I would like to offer a warm welcome to all the Actioneer clubs throughout the UK to London to support this event. I am sure we can increase on the success of last year’s increase in competitors.
We need your help to circulate this entry form to visually impaired athletes in mainstream education.
Specialist schools and colleges for visually impaired people are again very welcome to take part, and we are looking forward to having a full track and field competition for over 100 athletes (see extra low cost for Junior Accommodation). Financial assistance for travelling for teams / groups outside London is also available – please contact us for further details.

This year’s Easter holiday programme opened with a thematic Easter egg obstacle course. The two teams contested fiercely to collect the most Easter eggs. The competition also proved a good warm up for training! As always the badminton and table tennis was well attended, all ages participating. The cheerleading also proved very popular and an impressive routine was learnt in only an hour.
