We are pleased to support their drive in upskilling coaches and leaders to deliver high quality running programmes, and linking in with our own RunTogether programme to support additional running opportunities with local groups.
TASTER RUNNING SESSIONS
A monthly set of taster running groups that move around London. In Islington for February 2017:
Run with a group to help community projects. We run in groups to local organisations that need our help completing tasks like shovelling earth for community gardens, planting trees or clearing derelict land, and run back all within 90 minutes.
Run regularly to see an isolated older person.
Visiting an older person as part of your weekly run can make a huge difference to their life. Over a million older people are always or often lonely, going for months without seeing friends or family. You could make a massive difference to their life by dropping in for 20 minutes as part of your run.
Run to help older people and community projects with one-off tasks.
