North London Network Announce Cross Country Training at Highgate.

Antrim xc 2010 starterNorth London Athletics Network are please to announce that Sunday training sessions with Sarah Chapman and Jonathan Deane at Highgate Harriers are starting again as of 15th January and will continue indefinitely.

As these sessions are outside of normal club training - we are asking everyone to pay £2 a session. We are also fundraising from other sources to make these sessions available.

Meet at Parliament Hill running track Parliament Hill Fields Hampstead Heath Highgate Road NW5 - nearest overground Gospel Oak or tube Kentish Town and bus - 214/C2 or Hampstead tube and 46 bus /walk.

Turn up in good time about 10.15/20 as warming up and the training will start promptly at 10.30am. It will last for an hour or so.

The group will warm up on the track and then go for a run and training on Hampstead Heath - with the coaches who are also both experienced athletes.

Anyone age 11 years and over up to 19 years may attend. No need to email in advance - just turn up. You do not have to be a member of an athletics club to attend - but other members of all clubs are welcome.

Hampstead Heath is the venue for the London Schools Cross Country.

There are also additional training opportunities at all 3 clubs in North London. London Heathside has a youth athlete session at the track at Finsbury Park on Sundays which starts at 10.30. Training nights at all 3 clubs are Tuesday and Thursday - sessions run  from 6-8pm. Email the club directly to book a free visit. Flyer attached with contact details.
