Tower Hamlets Youth Sports Foundation joined forces with London’s City Airport to ensure that the spirit of the Olympic Games develops in the Borough offering students the opportunity to meet Irish High Jumper Deride Ryan during a Master class at Langdon Park School.

David Malloy – club and community manager said “We were lucky to have such a high profile athlete drop by. She answered questions from the GCSE group before putting them through their paces in the practical workshop. It was a great experience and the students are looking forward to following their progress at the London 2012 Olympic Games this summer”.

The Tower Hamlets Youth Sport Foundation sits on the Run! Steering group for the borough, organised by Activator Nicole Evans. The foundation is a key partners in the borough driving forward junior Athletics participation.
